Launchpad: The Big Move

It’s finally July!

As mentioned in my last post, these past couple of weeks I’ve been busy with the big move (and adjusting) to our new office building. We moved last June 28, and are still currently getting used to everything in our new work spaces.

Exactly 2 weeks ago, the last batch of Voyager employees moved from Anson’s Building in Ortigas Center to our newly renovated office at the Launchpad Building in Mandaluyong City. Although our original office at Anson’s had a sort of an “open office” set-up already, there were some divisions and walls between tables so we were sort of surprised that to find that our new office spaces were even more open than before.

Our area!

Currently, Voyager (as a whole) occupies the 6th to 9th floors of the Launchpad building. PayMaya and FINTQ occupy the 6th floor, while the rest of the company occupies the 8th and 9th floor.

The 7th floor is where you can find the common areaโ€“this includes the pantry / cafeteria, huddle areas, and several meeting rooms which are free for employee use. There are also gyms and a nap room on the same floor, but these are still being completed as of now.

IMG_6975As a part of our office “welcome kit,” we all received a water tumbler, spray for cleaning the surfaces of our desks, and a towel. Other things that we received while touring the office building were an additional water tumbler, a bar of chocolate (as seen in the cover photo of this post), a couple of pens, and some even won USB flash drives! Those were definitely a treat.

Speaking of treat, theย Treat for the Day program that our office was extra special on the day of our move. We received a free 12oz iced coffee fromย Dunkin Donuts, and a coffee bun fromย Cafe France, to keep us energized up until lunch time came.

Overall, I’m happy that our new office can now compete with international offices, and I’m excited to see how work life will go, but we’ll have to see what comes up in the coming weeks / months!

Launchpad (our new office building) is located atย 9th Floor, Launchpad Building, 9 Sheridan Street, Mandaluyong City 1554
